Re: Ever been stalked as a result of camming?
I had an experience a couple of years ago.
A customer who initially revealed he was too young to be using the site, I reported the user and he got banned. A few months later, he was actually of legal age to use the site and he booked webcam shows with me regularly.
It wasn't long before he was wanting to meet offering me money to me to agree to go out for lunch, go shopping, even just meet him so that he could give me cash and leave.
Before I knew it he would be at places I visited, becoming more and more frequent, one time even shouting me by my model first name to say hi. Safe to say I informed him during our next cam show that I would be left with little option but to report him for stalking to the Police if he didn't stop.
He was a nice enough lad, just young & horny and wanted more than I offered via online only. I have never seen him in public again, but he does still have the odd cam show now and then and still offers money to meet him.
I have bumped into a few of my regulars who I have recognised and who have made eye contact with but none have ever made any attempt to interact or acknowledge me, which is the way it should be.
Although saying that, I did make a friend in real life of a customer who I actually felt comfortable enough to allow to know me personally, although that was after many years and who had already revealed his identity, family, work, everything about himself to me, which I could confirm, before I would ever consider allowing a relationship anything other than strictly private business.

I got doxxed by a psycho punter, I can't petite it was him, but the posting of my personal info was around the time I had an incident with him and don't ever recall upsetting anyone else who would go to the effort of posting my stuff online.
As a result of getting doxxed, which I was unaware of for many months, turns out my details was over loads of local porn chat sites like reddit, swingers sites, forums, Facebook groups, social media, etc, when I found out I met a guy whom I thought was a genuine guy who didn't know about me modelling as I was always very private. It turns out he recognised me from the doxxing sites.
I thought it was strange and me just being paranoid, more people looking at me as though possibly they recognise me from the site(s) I legitimately advertise on, but it's more likely as a result of my personal info been posted.
