How can I take payments on a Wordpress members site?

Hello all. Can anyone offer any advice on how I can turn my Wordpress site into a membership site where I can restrict access to my content in a private members-only area and take payments for subscriptions to memberships (recurring) and one-off payments to access/download specific content? Thanks.

I don't think there is an official members plugin for adult sites using Wordpress.

But you can take a look at this plugin for which there is an add-on that allows you to use the CCBill payment processor to take payments.

I have seen a fair few adult successful Wordpress adult paysites using this membership plugin.

If you go for a membership plugin like Paid Membership Pro then you'l still need a theme (website design).
